Dolores Gatz to Leigh Adams This project is a combination from many people though my fingers. The grapevine is from my aunts yard, like in her yard it's hidden beneath fresh Willow from my yard that was twisted round and round (as taught by Doris Messick). Then wax linen from Royalwood was looped thoughout the project (taught by Cass Schorsch and Doris Messick). Looping, I found to be so relaxing. Finally, coils were started again with round and round ( as taught by Marilyn Moore) with a few pine cones from my backyard and pineneedles from South Carolina and J Stanley. When done it looked like that sandy thing that the Japanese do thats the sands of time. Hense for the first time I have named a project: The Coils Of Time'. The idea for this project came from a photograph of a piece done by Lois Rainwater.
