A name, hmmm, you name it. I haven't gotten into naming my creations yet. I have enough trouble creating them. 'Swap 2000', 'first of the Century' (that was creative)

I guess it was about 8 inches across and 7 inches high. That's going from memory, I didn't measure it either. I coiled the flat bottom piece to my gourd. Once it was the size to start up the sides, I rubber banded it to the gourd. I had to do this a couple of times because I think I pierced the rubberband too many times with the needle. I the just kept stitching my way up and around the gourd. I stitches from the outside on a diagonal toward the gourd, so the needle point came out the inside of the coil running up along the gourd. No it didn't leave any scratches.

Before I coiled the gourd, I dyed the gourd inside and out with leather dye. After it was dry I polished the outside with Kiwi paste shoe polish and buffed it with an old towel.
